Welcome to Our New Tutors and Receptionists, Part 2

Hey Choctaws!

It’s Mary and Emma again, your blog co-editors for 2023-2024! We’re back in full swing here at the Writing Center, and it’s been a joy to work with all of you writers again.

We believe the Writing Center is all about learning through community, so it’s time we finished introducing you to ours. You can find more details about the Writing Center staff on our new staff page! We are so excited to introduce these new tutors and receptionists (part 2!):

Tutors:

Holly-Grace Kelly

Holly-Grace Kelly is a Political Science major on the Pre-Law track; she hopes to be a lawyer one day. It has always been Holly-Grace’s dream to study abroad!

Robyn (Cher) Marshall

Robyn – or Cher – Marshall is an English (Writing) major with a minor in Psychology. She has lots of career aspirations, including (bestselling) author, preschool or kindergarten teacher, or high school teacher! She says most people consider her to be petite, but don’t be fooled – she has a huge appetite.

Lindsey Newman

Lindsey Newman is pursuing a double major, studying English (Writing) and Administration of Justice. Her dream job would be to own her own daycare. Lindsey can say the alphabet backwards!

Reagan Palmer

Studying Biology (Pre-Med), Reagan Palmer hopes to one day be an infectious disease researcher. One fun fact about Reagan is that her mom has a personal letter and autographed picture from Elvis Presley, who she wrote to when she was 8 years old!

India Rice

India Rice is an English Education major. Her dream job is to be the director of a crisis pregnancy center. India is also a lifeguard!

Hannah Winston

Majoring in both Modern Languages and Christian Studies, Hannah Winston’s dream job is executive administration for a big church. In her free time, Hannah loves cooking different international cuisines.

Receptionists:

Sydney Shaw

Sydney Shaw is double-majoring in Psychology and English (Writing). She hopes to one day be a therapist-slash-writer. One fun fact about Sydney is that she is obsessed with the children’s TV series Bluey!

Kayce Stephan

Kayce Stephan is a Psychology major with a minor in Graphic Design; she hopes to be a mental health counselor. One of our many Swifties, Kayce saw Taylor Swift live in Nashville!
