Welcome, everyone, to today’s lecture: How to Succeed in Online College Classes. I’m your professor, Dr. Zoom, and I’m going to be explaining everything you’ll need to know for the rest of the semester in this course.

You probably already got my email attachment “Updated Syllabus,” so now let’s talk about the practical ways you can manage your time and get everything done.

Students, just like at MC, there are still so many things trying to get your attention now - the news, your dog, your parents, Netflix - but through it all, you can find a daily routine similar to the one above. You can also conquer the distractions by working late at night or on the weekends - whatever works for you!

One unique aspect of this time we are all sharing is that none of us has done this before. But you and I - we have done college before, and that comes with about as crazy a schedule as you can imagine. So in some ways, we are more prepared for this chaos than anyone else.

We can do late nights or early mornings. We can operate technology. We can ask for help when we need it.
